Annie Mallamaci
Annie is an actor, singer, dancer, and theatre administrator based in New York City. Born and raised in North Canton, Ohio, Annie began performing at a young age, and was an active member of her local community theatre and school productions throughout her childhood and adolescence.
In college, she studied Theatre and Arts Management at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She was nominated to compete at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for her performance as the lead role in Lois Lowry’s Gathering Blue, and was also a member of a co-ed a cappella group.
Before moving to Brooklyn in 2022, Annie worked as an activity host for Carnival Cruise Line, during which she loved entertaining vacationers as an emcee and featured dancer in Lip Sync Battle and deck parties. Now, she has been working for A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical on Broadway in an administrative capacity for over a year.
Annie is thrilled to be a Company Member of Free Mind, and to have this opportunity to find community and strengthen her dance skills. She is fascinated by the healing power of storytelling, and grateful to be able to explore this through dance.
