This intensive introduces you to the art of choreography and combining movement with music.
Week 1: Create choreography on the spot with Taylor, then get a song assignment to work on during the week.
Week 2: Return with your choreography to workshop it, refine your ideas, and film your creations while learning essential tips for crafting choreography!

Vogue with Power: Drills, Technique & Freestyle Workshop
Join us for a 2-hour workshop diving into vogue! Hour 1 focuses on drills and technique to perfect your lines, poses, and spins. Hour 2 is all about learning how to freestyle in vogue battles—find your creativity and unique style with guided instruction. Heels or flats and kneepads recommended. No specific song, just you, the beats, and your fierce energy - let's tap into true vogue culture!
Reggaeton Foundations Workshop
This workshop will dive into the roots of the style, teaching you the foundations of the music and fundamentals of Reggaeton movement. From old school underground to modern era Reggaeton and trap, this class will make you want to perrear til the sun comes up.
Heels Intensive (Aug 24 - Sept 14)
This month long intensive focuses on mastering the essentials of heels dancing.
Week 1: Learn walking techniques, boost confidence, and focus on strengthening and flexibility.
Week 2: Master basic moves, transitions, and continue strengthening exercises.
Week 3: Develop choreography skills with a focus on musicality and expression.
Week 4: Perfect choreography, add performance elements, and showcase your progress with professional video.
Rehearsals run every Saturday from 12pm - 2pm from August 24th to September 14th.
This is perfect for those wanting to build confidence in heels, master the moves, enhance their technique, and advance their skills.
Price: $90 for entire intensive / $30 for drop in - Included in the price is a professional video to showcase your progress.

Rehearsals run every Sunday from 11:15am - 12:45pm for the month of August.

Spend a night of music, art, dance, community, and more at Free Mind, the Studio! Deanne Ferro & Friends is an immersive art/performance event. Vine charcoal and paper will be provided for everyone to get creative, doodle, or do whatever you please while you listen and watch performances by Deanne, in honor of her upcoming single release, and members of the Free Mind community. Feel free to bring any other art supplies you'd like!

Tap Dance Workshop
Join this open-level, beginner-friendly tap dance workshop! Strengthen your ankles with conditioning warm-ups, learn essential tap techniques, and practice traveling steps across the floor. After that, you'll learn a fun tap dance combination. Our instructor will guide you through each step, ensuring a supportive and energetic environment. Tap shoes are highly encouraged but not required in order to join class. No experience necessary!

Join us for our first ever Open Mic Night! It’ll be a fun night of creative energy and showcasing the talents of the people of Free Mind. This event is a BYOB event - Bring your own drinks and a cushion to sit on (if you want) for an intimate performance vibe. Doors open at 7:30pm - the show starts at approx. 8pm. Support local artists’ and spend your Saturday night with us! All proceeds will be donated to the Palestine’s Child Relief Fund.
