Phoebe Wells

Phoebe Wells was born and raised in Downtown Phoenix, Arizona where she trained primarily in classic studio styles—  ballet, jazz, flamenco, and modern dance— with Ballet Arizona’s Pre Professional Program. In high school, Phoebe attended Arizona School for the Arts where she also studied musical theatre, piano, and choir. Following an injury Phoebe stepped away from dance while pursuing a degree in Political Science and Data Analytics at Arizona State University. 

Phoebe recently rekindled her love and passion for dance since relocating to New York  City this past year and is excited to be working with Free Mind the Company. In her time with the company Phoebe hopes to expand her expression and artistry beyond the confines of her classic training as she redefines what movement means to her while working in community and collaboration with others.
