Angela is a Philly native living in NYC. She has always been a city girl surrounded by lots of rich and diverse culture that influences her style of dance. She grew up in her home studio JoAnna's Studio of Dance where she had her first job teaching students. She then attended the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts where she was a Dance major and graduated as Dance Captain. During her years in Philly she trained in every style of dance, spending summers at intensives at the Rock School of Ballet and the University of the Arts. Some of her favorite dance memories growing up include being a Junior NBA 76ers Dancer, performing at her home team's games and being a lead dancer in the Thanksgiving Day Parade ever year of high school.

In 2016 she moved to NYC to pursue her many goals. Having suffered a knee injury, she chose to major in Economics at Pace University. She has simultaneously built a career in the corporate fashion industry with her Economics degree, currently still working as an Inventory Planner for American Eagle Outfitters, while also pursuing her passion of dancing. She strives to show rising dancers that you can be multi-faceted, go down different paths, yet still ultimately thrive in the dance industry as long as you still put in the work, driven by a true love of the art!

After stepping away from dance after injury when first coming to NYC, Angela is now heavily immersed in the New York dance scene. She is signed as a commercial dancer with Bloc Talent Agency, in the process of working with several musical artists. She can be found training with top educators on a weekly basis at Broadway Dance Center and performing in choreographers' pieces such as Miles Keeney and Keenan Cooks in shows such as Choreographer's Carnival, Leg Up on Life, and Peridance's Performance Project.

As a teacher she intends to teach not only dance technique, but the mindset behind dance. She believes focusing on a strong mindset just as much as a strong body grants dancers true confidence, which is what makes them unstoppable!
