Justin was born and raised in Ohio surrounded by his five other siblings who were all involved in the musical arts to some degree. His parents were also quite investing in the state wide singing community as well which largely influenced his love and passion for music. During high school is when he discovered the ability to turn his passion into a career, so he became involved in choir and band which framed his trajectory to studying music in college.

Justin attended Pace University getting his BFA in Musical Theater. While there, Justin was able to create many opportunities for other students who weren't studying music to be involved in a community where they had the opportunity to create music by founding an a cappella group called FREQUENCY. This group is still standing today and is a nationally ranked group. Justin's time in FREQUENCY consisted of him music directing, choreographing, and arranging music for the group leading them to multiple titles at national competitions.

In the world of theater, Justin has been lucky enough to work with and learn from incredible names from being directed by Jeanine Tesori to becoming a backup singer for LaChanze. Along with being able to work with some incredible Tony award winning artists, he has also created a career for himself in the theatrical community. He is just coming off of the Broadway national tour of Chicago portraying the role of Mary Sunshine, and he is incredibly excited to take all of his knowledge from his multiple gigs that has kept him touring for the past three years and share that with all of the creative souls coming through Free Mind The Studio. The goal for both his Musical Theater Dance Class and his Vocal Technique Class is simply to broaden your skill set, enhance the skills you are already coming in with, and create a comforting environment to help you learn and grow into the artist that you long to be!
