Kim is an ambitious professional dance instructor, choreographer and performer born and raised in Queens New York. She began dance training in her high school years with her dance club that she started up alongside her dance professor. Kim has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Dance and Business from CUNY Hunter College. During her college years, she studied various techniques such as ballet, modern dance, contemporary, improvisation and hip-hop and even Stage production. She then branched out to other street styles like House, Street Jazz, Heels, Reggaeton, and Dancehall. Kim works with children of all ages and adults and has creatively collaborated with upcoming musical artists, nonprofit events, and showcases, as well as fashion shows throughout the city. She has performed on stages in the Dance community like Club NYC, Choroegrapher’s Carnival, Sybarite, the Delancey and SOB’s. Currently Kim trains in, teaches and performs aerial arts such as Pole, Lyra Hoop, Silks and Flying Trapeze. Outside of Dance Kim is a loving mother, party motivator, MMA event ring card girl and network marketer. At Free Mind, her mission is to make create a safe and fun environment for like-minded individuals and make a positive difference in the dance world one dance class at a time.
