Taylor was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She is trained in traditional dance studio styles from ballet to tap, jazz to contemporary, and most importantly hip hop- which became her focus later on in her dance career. She did competition dance through high school, and most notably won national and world championship titles in the hip hop category with Morton’s Dance Center.

In college, she studied Entertainment Marketing and Finance at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. She carried her passion for dance into her college years upon founding Hip Hop Hawks - an open club for dancers of all levels to come together and learn choreography and perform at university events. She also performed as an opener with her sister Jordan, “The Sweeney Sisters” for spring concert artists such as T-Pain, DJ Pauly D and Sean Kingston.

Taylor continues dancing in NYC and takes classes around the city often. At Free Mind, she hopes to create an open and inviting space for anyone wanting to learn how to dance, or continue their training! You can expect grooves to current music that you can take from the studio beyond!
