Jénesis Gallego

Meet Jénesis, born and raised in Westchester, NY. She discovered her love for movement as a young teen and would spend time teaching herself to dance. While pursuing her degree in Urban Design and Architecture at New York University, she found herself immersed in the vibrant dance scene of New York City. As a member of the Latin and Ballroom Dance Club, she explored a range of styles including Salsa, Tango, Waltz, and Swing. Outside of the club she attended classes covering diverse styles including Bachata and Belly Dancing.

However, post-college, adulting slowly led her away from the dance floor. Yet, as Jénesis entered her thirties, she felt a compelling desire to reignite her passion for the art form that had once filled her with boundless joy. Now, she embarks on a new chapter with a renewed determination to honor her happy feet and nurture her creative soul.
